Dragomon Hunter Sharpshooter guide

Dragomon Hunter Sharpshooter guide by inasteven
hey guys, here is the gunner guide finally I am done with it, I hope you will find it useful and help you throughout the CBT.

Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Leather armor means more tank when vs elemental based attacks.
- Ranged attacks allows for easy kite and due to that has good solo skills
- One of the 300vs300 pvp kings due to huge range on skills and AOE.
- Also good for group PVP (3vs3 and 5vs5 ) with ranged attacks
- Leather armor means it is easier to reach or almost reach the Crit cap.
- Can debuff enemies which increases self and party's damage.

Cons:
- Not much more defense than cloth so is still on the squishy side.
- No heals on skills meaning it can be hard to maintain if you can't kite (you will have a hard time doing this if you have high ping) all attacks (can change to dual sword to heal up but need to wait for cooldown, however if you do then you can almost fully heal up if you have enough dual sword attack).

Stat Points
As for stat points, Ballista users tend to go full on Attack and the remaining points in Crit. The opposite is also good if you want more Crit and less Attack. You have free resets so you can play around with it. Though ATK is very important to have as you are a leather user and can't receive as much ATK from your armor as a cloth user. If you end up with enough crit due to having leather armor you may also go full attack and the rest on Crit DMG (penetration) to increase your damage output even more on Crits.

Skills + Add-Ons
In this section I will be explaining the gunner skills and what the best add-ons to get in my opinion. I will stat with the basic skills that everyone will receive when they create a scout.
Note: you are free to change the build to your liking and your play style.

Shooting
This is the first basic skill it does 120% damage, if you hold it down long enough it will lead to the next skill which is Continuous Shooting or you can press it twice.

Continuous Shooting
This skill does 216% damage and debuffs the enemy for -50% movement speed that lasts for 10 seconds.

Gravity Shooting
Pressing Shooting three times will lead to this skill which does 222% damage, and on top of that it gives you a buff of 30% more damage. It also resets the cooldown of Vital Sniper.

Vital Sniper
This skill does 360% damage, the cooldown for this skill reset when you crit, so it is important to aim for high crit on your gunner. this skill also debuffs the enemy making them receive 5% more damage, it stacks up to 5 times.

Track Bombard

Track bombard is your main AOE skill as it has a wide range and does 504% damage + 80% damage over time after casting the skill. you can walk as you cast this skill so you won't be vulnerable to attacks. Though we are going to get some add-ons here that will decrease its cast time so it will be almost instant cast.

- Fast Location: By making this add-on 5-stars the cast time of this skill will be decreased by 75%, which will make it almost instant cast.

- Emergency Convene: Reducing the cooldown of this skill is not a bad idea, since it is your main AOE you will want to use it more often, so we will make this add-on 2-stars, which will give you 8% reduce cooldown for the skill and 2% permanent Penetration.

Note: Penetration is very important for damage output so it is very important for gunners to stack on it

Killer Instinct

This is a buff that you will be using all of the time for yourself and your party members. what it does is that it gives you and your party 8% Crit and 8% Crit DMG that lasts for 180 seconds. since this is a very useful buff you can make it even more useful by getting some add-ons.

- Armor Destroy: This add-on at 5-stars will add 10% of your Crit on to your Penetration. Now as I said before, as a gunner it is very important to stack on penetration, and the reason for that is because you can't use a cloth armor which will give you lots of attack, instead you can stack on penetration which ignores defenses. your damage with high penetration will help you close the gap between cloth users who get more attack on their armors.

-Victory Combo With this add-on at 2-stars you will always have a chance of 2% to receive 30% extra damage buff. You don't have to get this one if you don't think it is worth it you can add it on anything else you want.

Crazy Shooting

This is my favourite damage skill tbh, as you can stand back and hold the button down of this skill to fire bullets, each bullet will do 320% damage. the drawback of this skill is the SP consumption, if you were alone in a dungeon this could be difficult to use as it will drain your SP by the time you are done with it which will prevent you from being able to roll to dodge an attack. Thus the best time to use it is when you are in a party as it does so much damage to monsters.

TIP: To be able to use this skill with more confidence, you just need to master the animations of bosses inside of dungeons as you will then learn the safest windows to attack.

- Sight Improvement: This add-on will allow you to stand even further back as you use the skill, so you can be further from the bosses attacks. I made this 5-stars to get a range of 5 extra meters. As you can imagine the further away from the boss you stand the better.

Now the remaining points I split them between the rest of the add-ons, you don't have to do what I did like i said before, you can do whatever you like. I added 1-2 stars on some other add-ons and here they are.

Brutal Sniper

This skill does 313% damage, it has some nice add-ons I got them to 2-stars.

- Weapons Proficient: I got this add-on to 2-stars for the 2% passive ATK that you get. as a gunner you use leather armor which doesn't give you attack like the cloth, so your attack will be less, it is good to stack on as much attack as possible.

- Seeing Eye: by making this add-on 2-stars it will give you a 6% Crit buff that will last for 5 seconds, on top of that it will reduce 3% of the Crit DMG taken.

Sunder Armor Powerful Shooting

This skill is very powerful it fires 3 bullets, and it does 540% damage, I got a few add-ons here too.

- Battlefield Veteran: This add-on is very useful as it will debuff monsters with -8% DEF, allowing you to do more damage. I only made this 1-star.

- Accurate Sight by making this add-on 2-stars you will receive 6% extra Crit DMG for this skill only, and a 4% Penetration buff for 4 seconds. like I said before penetration is very important for more damage as it ignores defenses.

Super Burst Bomb

This skill does 240% Fire damage, it is a not bad skill, though I got one add-on here.

- Exotic Fire Application: The reason I got this add-on to 2-stars is because of the 4% permanent Crit damage I receive, on top of that it will reduce the Crit DMG taken by 6%.

That is all for the skills, as I kept repeating in every class guide, you are free to change the skill add-ons as you wish this is just my build on my character.

Dragon Jades
Gunner's Dragon Jades are very similar to the Slayer's jade, as they are both DPS classes and ranged. I will be listing below 2 builds of Dragon Jades, the first build is for PVP then the PVE. But first I will show you the weapon jade which will be used for both pvp and pve.

Hunting dragon. Iceberg Jade Dragon

Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Weapon.
Jade Description: 5% Human Damage, Tokens It has a chance to activate a skill that shoots an Iceball to the enemy.
Obtained From: Arena Merchant, 10,800 Blue PVP.
Why This Jade?: Since you are a ranged class you can't use jades such as Outbreak Flash, as you need to stay far away from the enemies as you attack. Therefore, this Jade suits ranged classes in general.

List of PVP Dragon Jades:

Hunting Dragon. Roundabout Jade Dragon

Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Helm.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage reduction, when you land a Crit, there is a chance that you will heal for 40% of your attack.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 9600 Blue PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Since you are not a healer, this can come in handy for PVP (for PVE too tbh so you have the choice to use this or the one I will mention later under the PVE jades section) .

Hunting Dragon.faining Jade Dragon

Jade Level: Lv45
Armor Part: Chest.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage reduction, when being attacked there is a chance to activate the Rebound Dizzy Effect, which stuns the enemy.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 9600 Blue PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Since you don't have any sleeping or stun skills, this can be very useful for PVP allowing you to have an opening to strike your enemies when it activates.

Deceptive Colored Crack

Jade Level: Lv40.
Armor Part: Waist.
Jade Description: Crit damage 30%
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: If you weren't able to cap out your Crit damage (which won't be possible at the start) this jade is best to use as a temporary jade for PVE and PVP. Though once you are able to cap your Crit DMG I advise you to go for an attack jade.

War bell. Hurricane Jade Dragon

Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Gloves.
Jade Description: 3% Damage to Elite Monsters (Mini bosses), it has a chance to summon a Tornado Whirlwind.
Obtained From: Battlefield NPC, 14,400 Pink PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Summons Jades are very useful, as they do a lot of damage and help you keep the enemy unable to attack you.
Note: an alternate to this jade would be Rock Stingray's Jade which summons a meteorite. You could get the Meteorite and the Tornado Whirlwind skill jades as a Sub-Costumes too so you can choose which one to use as a Jade and which as a sub-costume.

Hunting dragon: Jade Teeth

Jade Level: Lv35.
Armor Part: Boots.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage, when landing a crit there is a chance of a 7% attack buff activating for 5 seconds.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 3900 Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Well who wouldn't want more damage? this jade exists in blue grade but it is best to go for this one, because the purple grade procs more often, and it has 5% human damage which is needed for PVP.

List of PVE Dragon Jades:

War bell. Doubling jade dragon

Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Helm.
Jade Description: Has a chance to activate a buff that gives 100% additional damage and lasts for 5 seconds.
Obtained From: Battlefield NPC, 14,400 Pink PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: it is a very useful jade it allows you to finish your targets faster.

Aunu Goulart's Blue Dragon

Jade Level: Lv50
Armor Part: Chest
Jade Description: When you "Roll" a buff of 10% ATK will activate for 3 seconds.
Obtained From: Guild Boss.
Why This Jade?: It is always good to have more attack xD

Deceptive Colored Crack

Jade Level: Lv40.
Armor Part: Waist.
Jade Description: Crit damage 30%
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: If you can't cap your Crit DMG I advise you to use this.

War bell. Hurricane Jade Dragon

Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Gloves.
Jade Description: 3% Damage to Elite Monsters (Mini bosses), it has a chance to summon a Tornado Whirlwind.
Obtained From: Battlefield NPC, 14,400 Pink PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Summons Jades are very useful, as they do a lot of damage and help you keep the enemy unable to attack you. like I said before this jade comes in a sub-costume too so you can choose either to use this or Meteor, since both exist as jades and sub-costumes.

Deceptive Colored Steel Body

Jade Level: Lv40
Armor Part: Boots.
Jade Description: When landing a Crit there is a chance to activate a 9% attack buff for 5seconds.
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: This jade is a bit similar to the Teeth jade that you will be using for PVP, the difference is that the Teeth Jade gives 5% human damage and the attack buff is 7%, while this one doesn't have human damage as you don't need it you won't benefit from it in PVE, and it gives more attack % in the buff. you can just use the teeth jade if you can't afford to get 2, the difference isn't really so big tbh.

Note: When you identify jades you will receive 2 types of stats, white and green. for the white stat either in PVP or PVE you want to aim for ATK,HP,Penetration,Crit.DEF. As for green stat, in PVP, you will aim for Human damage/Human damage reduction % + Crit dmg %, as for PVE, you don't need the human damage since you are killing mobs. so Crit damage % is enough.

Sub-Costumes
For the Sub-Costume you are going to use as a main body part, either Tornado Whirlwind which can be obtained from Drake Runaway dungeon, though it won't be available at the start of the game. Or you can go for Meteorite body part, which can be bought from the battlefield Merchant for 58,000 Pink PVP Tokens.

Costumes. Red Lotus Wings

Apparel. Evolution Ranger

As for the head part you can use any that you like I will give you 2 examples, Headdress: Explosion Fighter This head part gives you 6% Crit DMG, and its effect is when you are getting hit there is a chance to stun the enemy for 2 seconds. it is a useful skill to have for PVP. it can be obtained from Lv31-40 Hunter Club from the dungeon Cruel Prison, the boss name is Locke chief (Cow Boss).

The second option is Headdress. Star Angel This can be obtained from Star Field dungeons which is located with the Fam dungeons. What this head part does is when you attack there is a chance for a spell to activate which summons a hard spike that comes from underground and strikes, it makes the target fly. this is the best head part to use at the moment as it does around 400%-500% damage when it activates.

Headdress: Explosion Fighter

Headdress: Star Angel

Dragon Chart Board
As you can imagine, dragon chart is a huge part of the overall way you choose to build your gunner. One of the best ways to build it on gunner is the following:

Name: Attribute Board: Swift Sun Dragonhawk.
Stat: Crit: +119, Crit DMG: 2%, Crit DMG Reduction: 3%
Max number you can use: 5
why this attribute stone: This attribute stone is what most damagers/healers go for as it gives you a lot of crit dmg/crit dmg reduction and boosts your crit rate.
How to obtain: From Sun Swift Dragon hawk (sub-species for dragonhawk, it can be obtained from breeding normal dragon hawk which is obtained from Open Field/Hunter Club Echo Valley map

Name: Attribute Board: Flash Leopard Dragon
Stat: Crit: +109, Crit DMG: 2%,
Max number you can use: 5
why this attribute stone: The same as the above.
How to obtain: This stone can be obtained from Flash Jungle Leopard, which can be obtained from breeding Jungle Leopard which is located in Open Field/Hunter Club Isolation Forest map

Overall break down of stat from all 10 stones:
Crit: 1,140
Crit dmg: 20%
Crit dmg reduction: 30%

To give you guys an idea of what this is, the crit cap is 12k and the amount of crit you will gain from this will be over the amount I stated due to crit % buffs and various other elements that impact the overall score.

That is all for the Gunner guide, I hope it was useful~
Thanks for reading!!
