Dragomon Hunter Monk Guide

Dragomon Hunter Monk Guide by inasteven
Pros & Cons
Pros:
– High damage (due to high damage based skills).
– Can out heal damage of some classes.
– Very good for 1vs1 and group PVP.
– Great solo class.
– Can act as a good damage class or Tank.
Cons:
– harder to cap crit damage due to heavy armor (but can still be done if stacked)
Stat Points
In my opinion, due to the fact that you can have 2 builds, it is good to have a damage based and tank based build as a monk.
Damage Build:
For this build you can put your points all in ATK and the rest on Crit or all in crit and the rest onto attack to boost your overall damage and heals in times when the extra tank isn’t needed.
Defensive Build:
Here as your 2nd build you can choose to go for a defensive one. This is due to the fact that some 1vs1 classes have stuns, and the fact that heavy armor gives HP % so by adding all points into HP, you get a huge boost which not only allows you to survive damage based stuns then heal up but also allows you to tank harder dungeons with more ease and act as a tank for your party. You could add the rest of your points on Crit or ATK.
Skills + Add-Ons
In this section I will be explaining the different cleric skills along with their add-ons. I will start off with the basic skills that you receive once you create a new cleric.
Two Combo Punch
This is your first basic attack and it does 115% damage. holding the button down for this skill will lead to counter two combo punch and whirlwind kick.
Counter Two Combo Punch
This skill will activate when you press Two Combo Punch twice or keep the button held down for it. it does 140% damage and it buffs you with 20% Healing bonus and 20% more damage that lasts for 6 seconds. so it is always good to use this before using a main damage skill or before healing.
Whirlwind Kick
This skill does 245% damage and it resets the cooldown of Diamond body care to 0, on top of that it buffs you with 25% movement speed and ATK speed for 8 seconds.
Diamond Body Care
This skill is very useful, I advise you to use this when you 1 vs 1 and all the time if possible, what it does is that it creates a bubble around you that reflects the firt physical damage skill by 180%, and it stuns the enemy for 2 seconds. the bubble lasts for 4 seconds.
Swift and Violet Kick
This skill is an instant cast and it does good damage 490%, this skill has a nice add-on imo it is worth getting.
Brutal Attack: by making this add-on 3-stars it will add a permanent 3% ATK to your stat, and the Crit rate for this skill only is increased by 4%. The reason I got this is because of that 3% ATK, the reason I didn’t make it 5 stars is because the skill points I saved from not making it 5- stars I can benefit from them in another skill, as making this add-on 5* will only give you an extra 2% ATK. imo it isn’t really worth it but you are free to do what you want.
Brilliant Truth
This is your first healing skill, it is a heal over time group heal skill, it doesn’t really heal by a lot even if you get its add-ons for increasing heals you won’t see much difference at all. so for me I skipped this skill’s add-ons.
Phantom Flash Attack
This is another powerful skill it does 594% damage and 100% damage over time if you landed the hit on the enemy.
Dynamic Vision: I made this add-on 4-stars for the permanent 8% Crit DMG I receive from it, due to the fact that it is harder to cap crit damage with heavy armor, this add-on will help boost it. This add-on also gives you 10% Crit rate only for this skill.
Militant Word
This is your buff it gives you 10% more ATK and 10% movement speed, this buff is very useful and to make it more useful I got an add-on from here.
Fighting Spirit Body Care This add-on is a must imo, as a cleric using heavy you want to be tanky not squishy, so I got this add-on which adds 32% of your ATK on to your HP. It really makes a big difference, it makes stacking on attack not only give damage and heals but also make you more tanky. if you don’t feel like you need all that HP, you can get other add-ons like the one that gives you a % of your attack added on to your Crit rate or Crit DMG.
Battle Breathing
This is your main and only self heal skill, it heals you for 40% of your ATK so it is always good to stack up on ATK to increase both damage and heals. imo this skill becomes more useful if you get some add-ons to enhance it and make it better.
Breathing Rythem by making this add-on 5-stars, it will reduce the cooldown of the skill by 40%, not only that but also it gives you 10% damage reduction for 6 seconds. Now by making this 5-stars the cooldown of the healing will become 4.8 seconds and basically permanent 10% damage reduction. The overall reason why i chose this add-on and not the one that increases heals by 30%, is due to the fact that it decreases cooldown by 40% making you able to spam it but also gives that reduction. By using heavy armor and the right accessories along with the right jades and jade bonus stat, you can stack on over 70% damage reduction which makes you able to outheal classes in pvp and be a very good tank in pve and thus, the 10% permanent reduction is a very nice addition to that.
Ashura Rising Dragon
This is my favourite cleric skill, as it does really high damage of 880%. the only problem with this skill is its cast time it is very long and this is why i got this add-on.
Refining Soul: This add-on will make this skill instant cast by reducing its cast time by 75%.
That is it for the cleric skills, as I always say you are free to change your add-ons as you like. this is simply my build for my cleric .
Dragon Jades
Dragon Jades are very similar between classes, I will be listing below 2 builds of Dragon Jades, the first build is for PVP then the PVE. But first I will show you the weapon jade which can be used for both pvp and pve.
Hunting dragon. Iceberg Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Weapon.
Jade Description: 5% Human Damage, Tokens It has a chance to activate a skill that shoots an Iceball to the enemy.
Obtained From: Arena Merchant, 10,800 Blue PVP.
Why This Jade?: This jade mostly raged classes go for it as they can’t get close to the enemy and have to stay away, though it is the best weapon jade in the game, it does the most damage. If you can’t get this one though you can for Outbreak Flash jade it is suited for close ranged classes.
List of PVP Dragon Jades:
Hunting Dragon. Roundabout Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Helm.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage reduction, when you land a Crit, there is a chance that you will heal for 40% of your attack.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 9600 Blue PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: in PVP it is really hard to heal as you have to keep evading attacks and attacking too, so this jade can be very useful as it can heal you while attacking if you crit.
Hunting Dragon.faining Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45
Armor Part: Chest.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage reduction, when being attacked there is a chance to activate the Rebound Dizzy Effect, which stuns the enemy.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 9600 Blue PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: This is a very useful jade for PVP as you can stun enemies when they attack you giving you an opening to strike.
Deceptive Colored Crack
Jade Level: Lv40.
Armor Part: Waist.
Jade Description: Crit damage 30%
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: This jade is a must for heavy users due to the fact that it is harder to cap Crit DMG on them. this jade will help you boost that crit dmg. this jade is used for PVE too.
War bell. Hurricane Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Gloves.
Jade Description: 3% Damage to Elite Monsters (Mini bosses), it has a chance to summon a Tornado Whirlwind.
Obtained From: Battlefield NPC, 14,400 Pink PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Summons Jades are very useful, as they do a lot of damage and help you keep the enemy unable to attack you.
Note: an alternate to this jade would be Rock Stingray’s Jade which summons a meteorite. You could get the Meteorite and the Tornado Whirlwind skill jades as a Sub-Costumes too so you can choose which one to use as a Jade and which as a sub-costume.
Hunting dragon: Jade Teeth
Jade Level: Lv35.
Armor Part: Boots.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage, when landing a crit there is a chance of a 7% attack buff activating for 5 seconds.
Obtained From: Arena NPC, 3900 Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Well who wouldn’t want more damage? this jade exists in blue grade but it is best to go for this one, because the purple grade procs more often, and it has 5% human damage which is needed for PVP.
List of PVE Dragon Jades:
Aunu Goulart’s Platinum Dragon
Jade Level: Lv50
Armor Part: Helm.
Jade Description: When you attack this jade has a chance to trigger an attack buff of 8% for the whole party members for 5 seconds.
Obtained From: Guild Boss
Why This Jade?: you could use other jades like the doubling jade I recommended for gunners and priests, but it isn’t a good choice because just like pipers, cleric skills are multi hits which makes this jade more suitable for them.
Red Ant’s Jade
Jade Level: Lv40
Armor Part: Chest.
Jade Description: When being attacked this jade has a chance to activate a shield that reduces damage done to you greatly
Obtained From: Red Ant monster located in Open Field / Hunter Club Lv41-50, Wind Hill Map.
Why This Jade?: I recommend this jade for close ranged classes as they get hit a lot since their skills require them to be close to the enemies. the chance for this jade to proc is very high. It boosts your tanking ability as a cleric .
Deceptive Colored Crack
Jade Level: Lv40.
Armor Part: Waist.
Jade Description: Crit damage 30%
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: like I said before as a heavy user it is harder for you to hit the crit dmg cap so this jade is kind of a must.
War bell. Hurricane Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Gloves.
Jade Description: 3% Damage to Elite Monsters (Mini bosses), it has a chance to summon a Tornado Whirlwind.
Obtained From: Battlefield NPC, 14,400 Pink PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Summons Jades are very useful, as they do a lot of damage and help you keep the enemy unable to attack you. like I said before this jade comes in a sub-costume too so you can choose either to use this or Meteor, since both exist as jades and sub-costumes.
Deceptive Colored Steel Body
Jade Level: Lv40
Armor Part: Boots.
Jade Description: When landing a Crit there is a chance to activate a 9% attack buff for 5 seconds.
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 15,000 Eagle Eye Reputation.
Why This Jade?: This jade is a bit similar to the Teeth jade that you will be using for PVP, the difference is that the Teeth Jade gives 5% human damage and the attack buff is 7%, while this one doesn’t have human damage as you don’t need it you won’t benefit from it in PVE, and it gives more attack % in the buff. you can just use the teeth jade if you can’t afford to get 2, the difference isn’t really so big tbh.
Dragon Jades Stat
When identifying dragon jades you will receive two types of stats, white and green. for the white stat either in PVP or PVE you will want to aim for ATK, HP, Crit, DEF, and Penetration. As for green stat, in PVP, you will aim for human damage/human damage reduction % + Crit DMG %. As for PVE, you don’t need the human damage since you are killing mobs so you either go for a specific species damage % + Crit DMG % or just go for Crit DMG %.
Sub-Costumes
For the Sub-Costume you are going to use as a main body part, eitherTornado Whirlwind which can be obtained from Drake Runawaydungeon, though it won’t be available at the start of the game. Or you can go for Meteorite body part, which can be bought from the battlefield Merchant for 58,000 Pink PVP Tokens.
Costumes. Red Lotus Wings
Apparel. Evolution Ranger
As for the head part you can use any that you like I will give you 2 examples, Headdress: Explosion cleric This head part gives you 6% Crit DMG, and its effect is when you are getting hit there is a chance to stun the enemy for 2 seconds. it is a useful skill to have for PVP. it can be obtained from Lv31-40 Hunter Club from the dungeon Cruel Prison, the boss name is Locke chief (Cow Boss).
The second option is Headdress. Star Angel This can be obtained from Star Field dungeons which is located with the Fam dungeons. What this head part does is when you attack there is a chance for a spell to activate which summons a hard spike that comes from underground and strikes, it makes the target fly. this is the best head part to use at the moment as it does around 400%-500% damage when it activates.
Headdress: Explosion Fighter
Headdress: Star Angel

Dragon Chart Board
As you can imagine, dragon chart is a huge part of the overall way you choose to build your cleric . One of the best ways to build it on cleric is the following:
Name: Attribute Board: Swift Sun Dragonhawk.
Stat: Crit: +119, Crit DMG: 2%, Crit DMG Reduction: 3%
Max number you can use: 5
why this attribute stone: This attribute stone is what most damagers/healers go for as it gives you a lot of crit dmg/crit dmg reduction and boosts your crit rate.
How to obtain: From Sun Swift Dragon hawk (sub-species for dragonhawk, it can be obtained from breeding normal dragon hawk which is obtained from Open Field/Hunter Club Echo Valley map
Name: Attribute Board: Flash Leopard Dragon
Stat: Crit: +109, Crit DMG: 2%,
Max number you can use: 5
why this attribute stone: The same as the above.
How to obtain: This stone can be obtained from Flash Jungle Leopard, which can be obtained from breeding Jungle Leopard which is located in Open Field/Hunter Club Isolation Forest map
Overall break down of stat from all 10 stones:
Crit: 1,140
Crit dmg: 20%
Crit dmg reduction: 30%
To give you guys an idea of what this is, the crit cap is 12k and the amount of crit you will gain from this will be over the amount I stated due to crit % buffs and various other elements that impact the overall score.
